Hello family and friends. We were told by several people that starting up a blog is a must for a new family, and seeing how Mia is just a few weeks away we thought we would jump on the train before she gets here. I guess we will just use this blog to update everyone on how Mom, Dad and the new baby are all doing and make sure to keep you posted with lots of pictures etc.
As of right now mom is a little sick, we aren't exactly sure if its a flu/cold type of thing, or her bodies way of preparing for labor. The doctor has been running lots of tests and blood work to make sure that she will get better and that it is not anything too serious. Dad is working now more than ever!! With the market issues he has had to work lots of overtime to help out all those people who are flipping out...poor Dad. We are just trying to get the nursery allllll finished up and looking beautiful for Mia's arrival. We aren't really sure how it came so quickly but as of today we are only a short 39 days away from her possible Birthday!! Although it is still 39 days away, we are pretty sure that she is trying to come out early through Mom's belly button. With all the crazy moving she has been doing in there we just assume she is trying to break out.
We had baby shower number two on Saturday at Grammy Vickie's house and got alllll sorts of great stuff!! We have soooo much stuff now!! Thank you to everyone who came and for all of your fantastic presents!! We will try and post some pictures from the shower. Nothing else too exciting is going on around here right now but we will keep everyone posted as much as we can with all the good news and fun stuff that is coming around the corner!! xoxoxo
